Against the Grain is a blog dedicated to publicizing and reflecting on some of my favorite alt hits of all time. It is also designed to help others broaden their musical horizons by discovering new artists and songs they may not have otherwise heard. Many songs have provided me with countless hours of enrichment and it’s fair to say they’ve influenced the person that I am today. It is my hope that in this blog, my reflections can inspire those same types of ideas in others.
